How Our Ornaments are Made

These beaded Unicorn Ornaments are handcrafted in Eswatini by Khutsala™ Artisans. Each ornament is handcrafted by creating a wireframe, stringing all of the beads on to a wire, and then wrapping the beaded string around the frame. Take a look at our how angel ornaments are made and get an idea of how these magical unicorns are made as well.

Over 50% of the population in Eswatini, Africa is living below the poverty line and make less than $2 per day. Over 100 people are currently employed at Khutsala™ Artisans and since each Swazi provides for 7 other family members on average, nearly 700 people are impacted in surrounding communities.  Work gives us all a purpose.  It nurtures dignity and self-worth.
